Zakari Mohammed pledges free healthcare for Kwara residents aged 65 and above

Meeting pensioners in Offa, the ADC candidate promised free treatment and medicines for residents aged 65 and above, and faster processing of retirement benefits.

Rt. Hon. Zakari Mohammed meets members of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners in Offa.

Rt. Hon. Zakari Mohammed, governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress in Kwara State, has pledged free medical care, including treatment and essential medicines, for every resident aged 65 and above if elected in 2027.

Speaking with members of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners at their office in Offa Local Government Area, he also promised to end long delays in retirement benefits. Under an ADC government, workers' retirement documents and entitlements would be prepared and processed six months before their retirement date.

He was joined by his running mate, Elder Olawuyi Julius Olayide, and other ADC candidates in the area. The meeting was part of the party's consultations with community groups across the state.

On security, he restated his plan to strengthen intelligence gathering, involve communities and improve coordination among security agencies, backed by modern technology.
